Dive Team Responds to Croton for Drowning Victim |

On July 24th at 8:11pm Yorktown Fire's Water Rescue Team was dispatched on an automatic aid assignment with the Croton Fire Department to the Croton River in the area of Cortlandt Manor for a possible drowning victim. Rescue 55 with Marine 55/56 and Car 2533 responded to the scene and attempted to gain access to the patient via the Croton River. Marine 55's crew provided scene lighting to Croton PD's boat who was already in the water and assisted them in the removal of the victim. Units cleared the scene at approximately 10:30. |
