Members of Yorktown Fire assist the American Legion in a traditional and honorable disposal of unserviceable American Flags.
American Legion posts will conduct an annual ceremony, often on Flag Day (June 14) to retire old or worn flags; contact American Legin Post 1009 at (914) 962-2843 if your American flag is no longer serviceable. You can also drop it of in their Flag Mailbox located 235 Veterans Road Yorktown Heights.
