Saturday Aug. 3 rd., we had the pleasure of hosting the Yorktown Youth Soccer Clubs U-9 Flash Soccer Teams car wash fundraiser at our Commerce St Fire Station.
We’d like to thank everyone from the community that stopped by to assist the club in reaching their fundraising goals including our brothers & sisters in blue from the Yorktown Police Department that now have one of the cleanest squad cars around for tomorrow nights national night out.
Thanks to the team, YHFD Engine 272 and Utility 83 (Duty Officer Vehicle) were squeaky clean for the alarm activation on Crompond Rd they responded to “in a flash!” along with Car 2531, Car 2532, Engine 274 and Ladder 51.
We wish Team Flash good luck at their upcoming tournament🏟️ on “The Football Pitch.” ⚽️
